9 Types of Women to AVOID

When dating in today's world, nothing beats experience. Most people are simply not worth your time, however taking the good with the bad is the only way to find your soul mate.

To help increase your chances I have gone through the net and compiled a list of the top ten types of women to avoid at all costs.

The Control Freak
It begins with her letting you know that she likes a specific shirt on you, then in a short time she is ordering your dinner and telling you what to eat. She attempts to control every aspect of your life and you let her. She determines what you wear, what you eat, who your friends are and every other aspect of your now miserable life. You become a child dominated by your girlfriend. Worst of all, the moment you try to stand your ground, she denies sex as a punishment or cries until you succumb to her demands. You have been emasculated, please retrieve your balls from her handbag and RUN.

The Stalker
You meet her and she's hot so you love to have her around. The first time she shows up at a guys night out, you are overjoyed because you look like 'the man'. Then she shows up at work saying that she was in the neighbourhood and came to say 'hi'. Things start to feel a bit weird and you questions her about her unannounced appearances. She quickly turns it on you, saying if you had something to hide you would be concerned. Then one night after a long day, you hear a rustle in the bushes outside your room. You look out the window and there she is. She tried to explain that she lost her beloved cat in the neighbourhood, but you know she doesn't have a cat. This relationship will only end like a scene from Fatal Attraction..

Little Miss Desperate
Her biological clock is ticking. In fact when you get close to her, you can her it. She let's you know that she is the last of her friends to get married and she thought she would have tied the knot 12 years ago. When she talks about marriage you can feel desperation in her voice and see it on her face. She looks at you like you are her last hope. She could care less at this point, you are a man and she is going to do whatever it takes to drag you to the alter and trap you into the rest of your miserable life.

This Insecure Chic
It is constantly stated that the hotter a woman is, the more insecure she'll become. This woman starts off as sweet and nice. She treats you well and calls you often to let you know she appreciates your friendship and time spent together. You soon realize that these 10-20 calls a day are actually to constantly check your whereabouts. "Who are you with?" and "Is that a girl in the background?" are questions you find yourself answering while you're at work. She doesn't just want to hear your voice. She is tracking you. She forces you to tell her every hour that she is attractive and spends four hours caking her makeup on just to go to the gym. She becomes needy and clingy then downright creepy soon after...move on!

The Wannabe Bride
At the end of the first date, she professes her love to you. By the second date, you know how many kids you will have, where you will live and have flights booked to meet the 'in-laws'. You on the other hand still have trouble remembering her name. Her romantic fantasies are only shown in Oxygen channel movies or romance novels. If you check her car or purse, she already has bridal dresses picked out of a magazine and you are her prince charming who has come to carry her away. This woman will have no idea what the real world is about. She will be terrible in any sexual situation and she will nag you every day for the REST of your life.

The Total Tease
You are at the bar with your buddies and she is staring at you. She makes her way over and throws her beautiful body on you. You are dancing erotically and sex is on your mind. You offer her a drink and she orders because you know where this night is headed. When you return with the drinks she is grinding your buddy and then your other buddy. You manage to somehow corral this wild philly and as you dance again, those thoughts enter your mind once more. You get another drink, but this time bring her with you and the night continues. When the night ends, you ask for her number and she denies. She held your attention all night and that is what she wanted. You go home, empty, broke and alone...loser...

The Shady One
It was the best date of your life and throughout the evening you both spoke of the next date. You were a gentleman and didn't push things along because in your mind, you were going to see her the next day and maybe the one after. You went to be with a smile on your face only to wake up energized, yet anxious to call her later that afternoon. You finally make it through the day and call, there's no answer, so you wait and call again..no answer. Five fays later you have not heard from her. Then days later she calls you and gives you same excuse about her whereabouts and you go out again. The date is better than the first and you are ready for a third, yet she disappears again. Unless you are ok, with the fact that the girl you are dating is banging some other man for 10 days while you sit by and wait for her to call...stay away!

The Bitch
She may be the hottest girls you have ever seen, however, as soon as she opens her mouth everyone around you cringes. She never has a good time in any situation and does her best to make sure you don't either. She is extremely well dressed and your friends commend you and wonder how you met this beautiful vixen. However, as soon as they meet her, they urge you to not bring her around. The world is against this woman in her mind and now you have to jump into the battle to help her fight. This is not your battle - get out. This woman can be spotted by her persistent scowl and delusional thoughts of her own greatness.

The Gold Digger
This woman will milk you for every hard earned penny you have and justify it simply because she has a vagina. Men, this borders on prostitution! Nothing is out of line to this woman and she will use her assets to keep you working as hard as possible to finance her life. Somehow you forget that your bank account is dwindling and there are other women out there! This woman expects her lifestyle to be financed in every way. The payments and gifts are never enough and as soon as she has milked you financially and physically, it's off to the next poor sap.

Things He NEVER Wants to Hear You Say

The world of relationships is tricky, and that's even if you don't put your foot in your mouth and say something stupid. We all do it eventually, we're only human. People are idiots, generally, and we're no exception. Having said that, there's a few things you should keep in mind that no guy wants to hear from a woman he's dating or wants to date.

I like you as a friend
Not only is this statement a huge kick in the junk, it's also a major cliche. As are the variations that include; "I love you but I'm not in love with you" "You're like a brother to me" and so fourth. Come up with a new tactic, be brutally honest. Something like "You'll never, ever, ever see me naked so stop even thinking about it." might hurt a bit, but it's better to say it sooner and allow the poor sap to move on rather than hold on to the hope that you'll eventually change your mind.

Anything that involves the phrase "my boyfriend" when referring to another man
This includes "ex-boyfriend" They don't care and they're not interested.

My parents want to meet you
Ya...um...feeling's not terribly mutual. Wait, they're buying dinner? Ok, that lessens the blow a little, sure not a lot mind you. But a little.

Do I look fat in this?
Ladies..we never want to hear the truthful answer..do yourselves a favour and stop asking..

And finally guys never want to hear overly ambitious instructions in..uh..the bedroom. Not to get to graphic, but going overboard is a turnoff for both parties. Helpful suggestions are great, sure, but acting like you're reading a roadmap? Not so much. Leave statements like "is it in yet" or "so and so used to do this..." out of it.

6 Steps For A Healthy Relationship

Are you ready for real love? In this day and age of fast-paced and short-lived relationships, it's challenging and difficult, to find good, solid, effective and useful information that helps to build a healthy and long-lasting romantic relationship. Whether you're single, married, divorced, or looking to be married, these time-tested steps will help you and your current or future mate to create a long-lasting romantic bliss:

1. Always be your 'true' self
You are wonderful and unique. If you find that you have to act or try to become someone who you weren't born to be, in order to fulfill someone else's expectations, that something is seriously wrong. A true love will appreciate you for who you are and what you bring to the relationship. If you feel as if you're being pressured to alter yourself to do things that you wouldn't usually do so that the person will continue to see you, that's a certain sign that things are unhealthy. Your true love will gladly embrace you just for who are. Don't be afraid to let your true colours shine.

2. Develop deep communication with each other
A healthy relationship goes much deeper than the surface. Despite how good you look standing next to each other, can you talk when you're alone? What's going on in your conversations? Are they deep and meaningful or surface and bland? Do you discuss personal hopes, dreams and goals, or just talk about the weather and the plot of the movie you watched last night? Can you count on each other to lend an ear, good advice, or undivided attention?
Good, honest, and deep conversation will keep you deeply connected. When in doubt, talk it out. Always keep the lines of communication open.

3. Don't ignore, but explore your differences
Do your personalities blend? Is one of you on the optimistic path, while the other a bit of a pessimist? Opposites may initially attract, but eventually they can repel each other. It is important that your personalities are compatible.
If one views life in rose coloured glasses, while the other is always singing the blues, then you have to make some sort of adjustment to accommodate each other. The simple truth is oil and vinegar make an excellent salad dressing, but they don't mix well in romantic relationships, unless both personalities can explore each other and find some sort of balance. If you can adjust and love each other, regardless of difference, and bring out the best when you're together, then this is a winning combo.

4. Share similar interests and values
You don't have to have the exact same interests. As matter of fact, having diverse preferences can help you to share new and exciting things with each other. However, make sure you have at least a few common interests, so it won't be an ongoing battle over what to do and where to go to keep you both happy. You may have to compromise in some areas like sports, politics, movies etc. Keep in mind that compromising doesn't mean depriving each other of their individual interests but instead it means participating in each other's interests.

5. Appreciate each others unique body
Let's face it, we're all built differently. We come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and shades. In order to have a healthy physical and emotional relationship, you must embrace and appreciate each other's total package. One of the worst things a couple can do to each other is to try to fit their mate into someone else's body image. When you throw away preconceived 'ideal body type' perceptions, you'll enjoy your partners true worth.

6. Talk about "The S&M Factor"
Two of the biggest destroyers of healthy relationships are the misuse, abuse, lock of or over-use of sex and money. Both are very important and very personal in your love life. Yet, unfortunately, most couples make the mistake of not setting quality time aside early in their relationship to discuss these two vital components.

Ladies, beware: Men to avoid...forever

Nothing is worse than the dreadful realization when you're on a date that you're going out with "The Womanizer" or the "Sarcastic Guy". You sit there and find yourself wondering, "How did I end up here...again?!" Well, you can't blame yourself entirely. Sometimes, people will lie about who they really are for social purposes. A womanizer might not seem like one, until you start going out with him a couple of months later. However, there are some men that do put themselves out there, and yet we can't help but feel attracted to them. There's the sarcastic guy whom we just view as funny, or the womanizer whom you're annoyed by, but always brings gifts. Ladies, we can do so much better. It's time to look at these men and say, "Enough!". These types of men are the ones you should avoid forever. They only bring heartbreak, annoyance, and countless pain.

Type 1: The Womanizer A.K.A "The Ladies Man"

Don't be fooled by his sweetness. This guy is one pain in the ass. He'll be promising at first: give you flowers, remember important dates. Beneath the surface of his manly mold is a jerk. After he lures you in with his portrayed swagger, he'll start flirting with your friends. It'll start simple: give other women they eye, then start to make comments. If you last with the womanizer, he'll eventually cheat on you. When confronted, will say "Baby..I can't help it. the ladies love me, who am I to resist them?" Immediately ditch him, he is not worth your time.

Type 2: The Sarcasm Guy

Okay, most women (myself included) love a guy with a sense of humor. He can make us laugh and make us feel at ease. However, there's a difference between "Comedic Guy" and "Sarcasm Guy". If you're lucky, you will find a mild version of him. The one who's sarcastic but not mean. The one to avoid is the truly sarcastic prick. He will make sarcastic remarks about everything. He'll even use his sarcasm on you, and more often than not, attempt to hurt you with words. You'll ask him to take out the trash and he'll make his sarcastic retort: "Oh ok honey, I'll take out the trash." and then mutter under his breath about how YOU always have to make him take out the trash. Immediately kick this guy to the curb..he ain't funny.

Type 3: The Porno Guy

Don't confuse this guy with a guy who casually watches porn. This guy is 100% different. While a normal guy will casually watch porn once or twice a week, this guy will watch it once or twice an hour. Some porno guys will try to incorporate what he sees in pornography into your relationship. In some cases it's not too bad, it's only bad when done to the extreme. He'll ask if you can bend in a position that seems impossible for you to bend, or plead to have a threesome and if you disagree, will say: "You don't understand me!." If he spends too much time on pornography and less time on you, ditch him. There are no happy endings for these guys.

Type 4: The Big Baby

These men are tricky to spot! You never know if you're going out with a big baby until you spend lots of time with him. If you're lucky, he'll show off his big baby side quickly. He'll make stupid remarks about how unfair you're being if you beat him at a game or complain about how you never do this or that anymore or why you're gaining weight. Once you confront him, he will complain and whine, like a baby. "Oh, you're the one who started it!." Or he might just completely ignore you. Forget about this guy. He is supposed to be your partner, not your

adopted child.

Any violent man should also be avoided. If he takes out his frustrations on you, then it is NOT a healthy relationship. Ladies, don't sell yourself short on these types of men. All they want to do is manipulate you. Every man is different, steer clear of the stereotypical ones.

Great Places to Meet Single People

Being single certainly has it's advantages. You have the freedom to do as you please without consulting your significant other and the ability to save more of your hard earned cash that may otherwise go to maintaining a relationship.
However, having someone to share your life with has its rewards as well. For those who have decided to take the plunge into the dating scene, here are a few of the most popular places to meet that special someone.
Hit the Cyber-curcuit
An increasingly popular way to find a date is in the online dating world. (We will review popular dating sites in a later post.) Meeting new people on the internet is quickly becoming one of the most practiced forms of finding love. A word of caution, however, not everyone is who they say they are. Online dating is an effective way to meet new people looking for love. Even this author has browsed to online social highway once or twice.
Find a Date Where One Engages in Enjoyable Activities
One of the keys to a successful relationship is finding someone who respects and appreciates their partner for who they are. An excellent place to meet new people is venues where you engage in activities that are fun and meaningful. Ex: book clubs, fitness class, outdoor activities. An important aspect of a successful relationship is sharing in similar interests with your partner.
Visit Spots Where Ideal Dates Are Most Likely To Be Found
Go to places where the person you would like to meet is likely to be found. For example, find upscale outdoorsy men at a marina, or volunteer at a community center to find a caring, devoted woman. Venturing where people with ideal traits often meet can certainly help land the perfect mate.
Avoid the Bar Scene and Hit the Coffee House or Join a League Instead
Despite popular belief the bar is not the place to find your soul mate. There is no way to truly gauge the people you meet if your/their inhibitions are altered by alcohol. Attend a gala, or reading at a coffee house. Consider joining a sport league. Increase your chances of finding someone with similar interests and have some fun while doing it.
There is no right-or-wrong answer when it comes to how to find a date. However, venues where you engage in exciting activities with people who share the same interests is certainly a good place to start.

First Dates that Make an Impression

Suddenly you're in a great mood. The sun has come out from behind the clouds and the birds a chirping blissfully. The reason behind your elevated mood is that the cute girl at the office has overlooked your awkward mentioning of a date and decided to give you a chance.
Now you have the nerve wracking decision of trying to figure out where to take her and what to do.. Certain ideas are better than others..
The Movies
The movie theatre is a tried and tested dating activity, but is it the ideal setting for a first date? Staring at a gigantic screen for two hours, with someone you barely know, in complete silence will hardly give you the opportunity to get to know eachother.
Sure you will have the post-viewing conversation regarding your opinions of what you both thought about the film but shortly after you will have dropped your date off and know nothing but their opinion of the film and how they like their popcorn.
The Amusement Park
Going to a theme park on a first date could be fun, right? Bonding, adrenaline, near death experiences and an insane rush.
However, worst case scenerio..remember that jumbo sized corn dog you ingested right before you both got on the worlds jumpiest roller coaster? Perhaps this dating venue is best saved until you both have developed a bond of forgiveness and understanding..
Dinner With The Family
Dinner is a great idea for a date. However taking them home to meet the folks right off the hop may prove to be too early for such an event.
Assuming that you have just met, you may not know a lot about eachother. Which could make for some very horrible dinner conversation.
Mini-Putting
Mini-putting is fun, active and a great place for competition, flirting and conversation. This inexpensive activity can be found indoors offering a glow-in-the-dark atmosphere or outdoors.
If your partner bends or throws the clubs out of frustration that they lost, maybe a second date isn't such a good idea.
Ice Skating or a Picnic
Skating on ice is a great way to break the tension on a first date. Ice skating is a fun, recreational activity where you can hold hands, while having fun and trying not to fall and embarass yourself.
Following skating, a good idea would be to find a cafe where you can get a hot chocolate and cuddle to warm up again. Packing a picnic and heading to a park for a hike is another inexpensive idea and a great way to spend a beautiful day.
A Museum or Art Exhibit
An educational date is not for everyone, but some may find this sort of date appealing. This is a great place to find a mutual interest and great conversation.

The Do's and Don'ts of the Dating World

Because no one ever said that dating was easy...

Do try to always look your best and be punctual
Showing up late of looking sloppy gives off the impression that you don't care. If that is the idea that you want to give off, why bother going out with this person in the first place?

Do try to enjoy yourself
The search for that special person can be nerve wreaking at times, but keep in mind that the journey is supposed to be a fun and enjoyable one.

Do compliment your date on how he or she looks, even if you don't really mean it
Men and women alike put a lot of effort into getting ready for a date, and it is nice to hear that the effort was noticed.

Do be interested and interesting
Ask questions, share thoughts, and most importantly pay attention when your date is telling you what they like to do, read, watch etc..

Do tell someone if you are not interested in seeing them again
You are saving no feelings by allowing someone to continue to think that you are interested in them when you aren't.

Do stay positive, even when dates don't end well
Dating is both a journey and an adventure. It is true that you need to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince.

Do plan ahead
Be creative, break a way from the norm. Let your date know that some thought has been put into the evening.

Do be proactive
Mr/Mrs.Right is probably not going to magically appear at your front door any time soon. Get out there, meet people, network. Join a club, hit the town.

Don't be a tie up their phone lines
Don't call or text someone you have just started dating more than once a day, unless they reply. Constant texts and phone messages appear desperate and make for a huge turnoff.

Don't date the kind of people who have hurt you in the past
Break the habit of the bad guy appeal and seek out a healthy relationship with those who make you feel good about yourself.

Don't lie
Even if the truth is bland, your lie will eventually be found out and could potentially ruin what could have been an amazing life long relationship.

Don't be too available
It is important for your date to understand that you have a life of your own as well. Fight the urge to spend every free moment with your new date, the chase is half the fun.

Don't give away too much of yourself too soon
The best relationships grow with time, the 2nd date is probably not the best time to discuss your life story.

Don't get drunk
Not only is it rude, it is also a safety risk when you have just begun dating someone new. Your judgement is impaired and you may be more apt to do something you normally wouldn't.

Don't forget to keep your cellphone charge
Until you are comfortable and trust the person you are going on dates with, keep your phone charged and with you at all times. Tell a friend where you are going and with who.
